UPDATE: Murfreesboro Police Sgt. Kyle Evans confirmed that around 9:15 Friday night, officers responded to the 1400 block of E. Main St. in reference to a shooting. One subject was shot and transported to Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital with a serious but non-life threatening injury. The subject is expected to be taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville for further treatment. At least one person is in custody at this time. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating.
