A 20-year old Jimmy Johns delivery driver was robbed and assaulted on Monday morning. The worker went to an address on Wenlon Driver at Raiders Ridge apartments to drop off an order of sandwiches. The female told officers that three men were sitting at the bottom of a staircase near an apartment that placed an order. When she walked past the men, one grabbed her and pushed her backwards. He then slapped her in the face, grabbed her sandwiches and ran.
Murfreesboro detectives took over the case and are looking into a possible suspect. At this point, WGNS has not been able to confirm an arrest.
