A new study has found over 16-billion dollars has been stolen from over 15-million consumers in the last year. And in the past six-years, the amount is 107-billion dollars.

Don't become a statistic. Terrie Page with the Better Business Bureau says they're having another shred day Saturday, April 27th. She says anything that has personal information should be properly shreded...

Bring your boxes or bags of paper documents that contain personal identifiers, and shred it for FREE. The event, sponsored by MaxShred and the local BBB, will take place from 9am until noon, or until the truck is full, at Lowe's on Old Fort Parkway. Again, the BBB FREE Shred Day is Saturday, April 27th, at Lowe's from 9-to-noon.

Terrie Page is the Branch Manager for the Better Business Bureau serving Rutherford County.
