Oakland pitcher Alex Ward gave up only three hits and the Patriots defeated Siegel 6-nothing Monday night. Oakland, up one-nothing in the fourth, plated four on five hits to end the night for the Stars ace Collin Stoecker. The Patriot's bats were lively, with 12 hits in the game. Siegel, Riverdale, Blackman, Oakland and La Vergne are all just a game or so out of the district regular season title with three more district game dates left. The Stars will try to split the series with Oakland on their home field Tuesday night.
