There are more complaints that will be heard in court over the construction of a mosque on Veals Road in Murfreesboro. The plaintiffs contend that the Rutherford County Planning Commission failed to give adequate public notice about a May 24th meeting dealing with the current site plan for the mosque. May 24th is the meeting that outlined the approval of the mosque as proposed by the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro. The case will be in Chancellor Corlew’s courtroom on November the 2nd. In the meantime, a groundbreaking for construction of the new mosque has already taken place.
