The man who allegedly shot and killed his ex-girlfriend in Smyrna this past September remains jailed under a one million dollar bond... Killed was Brianna Brown at her Sky Valley Trail home. Charles Godspower is also accused of shooting Browns mother Diana Glover. Glover was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center after the shooting where she was treated and later released. Godspower faces especially aggravated kidnapping, first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder charges. The man also faces a charge for violating an order of protection. The Smyrna couple evidently had a relationship that was riddled in domestic violence issues. The two had one son together.
