Janie Becker with the Agriculture Extension Service told WGNS that the farmers' market offers more then just fresh vegetables...
Becker said there will be a festive atmosphere with live music, and local vendors featuring handmade soap, farmfresh eggs, meats, chestnuts, flowers, bushes, trees, mistletoe, even Christmas trees.
Again, the new winter farmers' market will be at the Lane Agri-Park at 315 John R. Rice Boulevard from 2:00 to 5:00 every Sunday afternoon now through December 18th.
