Roy Waldron Elementary School in LaVergne had to be briefly evacuated on Friday. The school was evacuated due to smoke being seen in the kitchen. A school custodian pulled the fire alarm that led to the fire department being called to the school. After a check of the schools exhaust system in the cafeteria, the fire department gave the “all clear” and the students were allowed back into the school.
