Diversity Showcased At MTSU's "International Education Week"

Infusing the college curriculum with a global focus is the goal as MTSU celebrates international education with a lineup of free public events across campus Nov. 12-18.

The U.S. State Department and Department of Education are sponsoring International Education Week nationwide Nov. 14-18, but MTSU’s celebration will kick off at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, with the screening of “Soul Kitchen,” a comedy about a German-Greek restaurateur who loses and tries to regain his business. The movie will be shown in the Keathley University Center Theater.

Faculty will learn “How to Lead a Short-Term Study Abroad Program” in a 1-2 p.m. workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 15, in the Learning, Teaching and Innovative Technologies Center inside the James E. Walker Library.
