MTSU "Man With Gun" Alert LIFTED

The alert from MTSU police about reports of a man with a gun has been lifted. According to officials, the suspect has been identified as a bounty hunter. Around 6:30 Thursday (11/10/2011) night, campus police warned students to "leave the area immediately and shelter in place". Reports came from students seeing an armed male near the Campus Pub on Gunnerson Avenue, just off Greenland Drive. Again, the suspect has been identified as a bounty hunter, and around 7:15 Thursday night MTSU Police lifted the alert.
