A man by the name of Corey Lillard has been arrested after police found a large amount of marijuana in the residence that he shares with his girlfriend. Police say they found the stash of drugs in his bedroom closet and under the bed in his children’s bedroom. Officers also recovered two handguns after receiving permission to search the home on Eagle Street.
Prior to police searching the house, Lillard allegedly tried to flush some of the marijuana that was in the home down the toilet. The only problem is that it did not all flush. Therefore, Lillard was not only charged with drug possession, but also with tampering with evidence.
