A 21-year old Murfreesboro man has been arrested by Murfreesboro Police and charged with two counts of statutory rape. Police arrested William M. Benford after finding him with the teen on November the 15th. The 14-year old girl admitted to police that the two had sexual relations in the 21-year olds car on at least two occasions. Upon further investigating the incident, officers found out that the two had met through FaceBook. Benford was taken to jail where he was placed under a $6,000 bond. Benford will have to appear in court on December the 8th.
