Six small bags of marijuana were seized by police after an attempted robbery in the parking lot of a club on West Main Street in Murfreesboro. Police say that 19-year old Jerry L. Lillard attempted to rob two men in the bars’ parking lot, but was unsuccessful. When police met up with Lillard they quickly charged him with attempted aggravated robbery. Police also found several small bags of marijuana in the car that Lillard was in. As a result of the drugs being found, Lillard was also charged with delivering or selling a scheduled six drug. Arrested with Lillard was 20-year old Tedarries D. Thompson. He too was charged with delivering or selling marijuana. Both men will appear in court on February 7th.
