Major technology upgrades are in store for the James E. Walker Library on the MTSU campus. 16-new computer work stations are being added to the first floor and 16-additional computers will be added to study areas on the second floor as well.  A printing station that will allow for students to print full color posters is also being added. The library will add new 60-inch flat screen televisions to several conference rooms for group projects and a separate flat screen TV will be added to another room in the library for the sole purpose of streaming news reports. Library officials also indicate the library will have a reserved room with a green screen for recording interviews. No word yet on when all of the new technology additions will be complete.
