What is being labeled as a Citizen's Town Hall Meeting is set for 6:00 o'clock this Thursday night (12/1/2011) at the Patterson Community Center. The event is sponsored by a group that's known as The Concerned Citizen's of Rutherford County, and will address Rutherford County's Comprehensive Plan and what has been labeled as Agenda 21.

Michelle Perkins, one of the members of The Concerned Citizens, told WGNS that the County Planning Commission is considering changes that would make it easier to control land use and her group feels that Agenda 21 will be involved and might take away individual's rights. Despite her thoughts of Agenda 21, Mayor Burgess had no knowledge of this so called Agenda 21.
