(Murfreesboro) Around 7:15 this past Friday evening (6/29/2018), Murfreesboro Police Officers responded to a single vehicle crash on W. Northfield Blvd near Tudor Place involving a 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle.
Officer Amy Norville told NewsRadio WGNS, "The motorcycle was westbound on West Northfield Boulevard and he failed to negotiate a curve causing it to strike the curb and eject the driver."
The driver was treated on the scene by Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department and Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services for life threatening injuries. He later died from those injuries at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
The driver was identified as 33-year old Derossi Leon White of Clarksville.
The crash investigation is ongoing.
