Murfreesboro Police were called to 1327 Lascassas Pike to investigate a suspicious package. Once on the scene, police talked to 40-year-old Joseph Johnson about the package that was just delivered. Johnson told police he was not sure as to what was in the package, but officers could take a look at it.

Reports indicate the package was delivered by the US Postal Service.

Inside, over 8 ounces of marijuana, numerous containers of hash and hash oil along with marijuana cream products were found.

Officers also say they found 4 grams of mushrooms inside a vaporizer bag, digital scales, numerous pipes and a marijuana vaporizer.

Johnson was transported to the MPD for questioning where he allegedly admitted to being paid to receive the drugs at his residence and then deliver them to Nashville for cash.

Johnson, who told police he drives for Uber, now faces two felony charges for drugs and a misdemeanor charge for possession for drug paraphernalia.
