Several thousand dollars was stolen from the Salvation Army. A police report detailed the events that took place on December 3rd in Murfreesboro. The culprit (or culprits) got into a locked office, took several thousand dollars out of a money bag, leaving behind $2,000. No word on why the thief did not take everything out of the money bag. The case was turned over to detectives.
