The 2018 Rutherford Recovery Fest is Saturday, September 15th from 10:00 am-5:00 pm. It will be at the Patterson Park Community Center. This event will be outdoors.
September is "National Recovery Month." The Rutherford Recovery Fest is a community outreach event that aims to reduce the stigma associated with getting help for addiction. This event is free and open to the public. It is also family-friendly. There will be prevention resources, treatment resources, and recovery resources attending to help an individual or family/friends of someone facing addiction. Other community resources will be in attendance because addiction can affect every aspect of one's life.
In addition to the resources, there will be door prizes, food trucks, guest speakers, musical acts, Naloxone training and kits, and a bounce house.
Attendees just show up, they do not need to register to attend the event.
