The Rutherford County Property Assessor Office is focusing their efforts in the 2019 United Way Campaign on the Mental Health Crisis in Rutherford and Cannon Counties.
Members of the assessor's office have worked with the United Way in promoting a direct contribution avenue for the "partner program" called The Mental Health Action Initiative. Contributions made to the program will provide direct assistance for research, treatment, and support to the affected recipients and family members in Rutherford and Cannon Counties.
Property Assessor Rob Mitchell told WGNS in an email, "Donations can be made to the Rutherford County United Way (Mental Health Action Initiative #787085) campaign. The Assessor's Office appreciates all support in bringing awareness to this growing concern."
