There are stories of survival from Tuesday's tornado that struck in Christiana.
The National Weather service says the Rock Springs Road home of John Erdmann and family took a direct hit from the EF-2 tornado, with winds up to 135 miles an hour.
Erdmann told NewsChannel 5:
The home was built in the 1800's and remodeled in 2004. Thankfully, no one inside the home was hurt.
Family friend Tracy Toy has set up a GoFundMe page for the family to help since their home is uninhabitable. We have a link to it at WGNSRadio.com if you'd like to contribute.
