(MURFREESBORO) The sunshine enjoyed by everyone on Friday (11/16/2018) helped encourage residents to bring frozen turkeys by Greenhouse Ministries all day to enable others to have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

Greenhouse Co-Founder Cliff Sharp commented on the generosity of the Heart of Tennessee . . .

A steady stream of individuals, along with church groups and gatherings from area businesses flowed by 309 South Spring Street Friday to drop off frozen turkeys from 7:00 that morning until late afternoon.

Feed America First had a refrigerated truck at Greenhouse to keep the gifts frozen.

Sharp noted that the turkeys will be handed out on Saturday (11/17/2018) to families who cannot afford a Thanksgiving meal. By receiving the turkeys, families in poverty will be able to not only have a meal, but also host a full dinner for others!

Greenhouse Ministries was founded by husband and wife Co-Founders Cliff and Jane Sharp, who act as executive directors.
