CASA of Rutherford County is partnering with the Child Advocacy Center to support their public awareness campaign "19 Days of Activism for the Prevention of Abuse and Violence against Children and Youth".
Since 1997, CASA of Rutherford County has served abused and neglected Rutherford County Children to ensure that these victims will have a voice in the court process. We believe that every child deserves to have the opportunity to thrive in the loving embrace of a forever family. Our volunteers work to ensure that throughout the court process; this fundamental right of children is not forgotten.
Our volunteers work to ensure safe, permanent, and loving homes for foster children in an overburdened child welfare system. CASA is central to fulfilling society's most fundamental obligation by making sure a qualified, compassionate adult will fight for and protect a child's right to be safe, to be treated with dignity and respect, and to learn and grow in the security of a loving family. With a CASA volunteer, a child is half as likely to languish in the foster care system.
We have had the opportunity to partner with the Child Advocacy Center in serving a number of our children. We appreciate the work that they do to support the children in our community and believe that by working together, we can all make a difference in the lives of children.
