A popular Smyrna High School teacher and football coach's wife has passed away after battling cancer.
Shannon Williams taught drama at the school for 22-years and touched many lives during that time. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in April.
Shannon and Matt Williams, the head football coach, actually met at Smyrna High School and were married for 18-years. Shannon is also survived by her two children, Keller and Neely.
Visitation will be held Friday from 3-8pm at Lifepoint Church in Smyrna. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1pm there as well.
