(MURFREESBORO) Effective January 14, 2019 Mindy Barrett will become the new branch supervisor at the Myrtle Glanton Lord branch in the Patterson Park Community Center. She has been with the Rutherford County Library System for the past 9-years.
Her previous duties have been with the Linebaugh and Smyrna branches. She has served as Youth Services Specialist at Linebaugh since 2014, where she led the Youth Services department with exemplary leadership and service.
Mindy earned her Master's Degree in Education and Library Science from MTSU and worked for Rutherford County Schools prior to joining RCLS.
Rutherford County Library System Director Rita Shacklett notes, "Linebaugh will be losing a valuable member of the team, but we are excited that our Myrtle Glanton Lord branch will benefit from her experience, education, enthusiasm, programming abilities and patron-driven service."

- Smyrna Public Library is located at 400 Enon Springs Rd. West in Smyrna

- MGL Library is located inside Patterson Park Community Center at 521 Mercury Blvd. in Murfreesboro
- The Technology Engagement Center is located at 306 Minerva Drive
