Murfreesboro residents in the area of a 41-acre plot of land continue to voice concern about a potential condominium complex near the Greenway. The land sits near Cason Trail and Stoney Meadow rive.
Reports indicate the project would likely move forward if the city agrees to a zoning change from single family residential to multi family residential.
Blue Sky Construction in Murfreesboro is behind the goal of building 384 condominium units that would range in price from $200,000 to $500,000.
One of the concerns revolving around the condo's surrounds wildlife in the area of the Greenway. A second issue brought to light, increased traffic in the area of Cason Lane.
So far, over 3,000 people have signed a petition asking the city to basically drown the idea as opposed to letting it surface for approval.
