Pet Adoption Welfare Service (PAWS) Director Michael Gregory tells about the many services of the local county operated animal facility. Over the past few years, with a combination of pet adoption and spay/neuter, the euthanasia rate has almost dropped to "0". It also has dramatically reduced the staff turnover at PAWS. Gregory said, "It's difficult not to loose employees when a large part of their job was euthanizing the animals they get to know and love."
