A "Shots Fired" call summoned Murfreesboro Police to the parking lot in Jackson Heights Plaza at the intersection of Broad Street and Medical Center Parkway in recent days.
Once on the scene, it was learned that a fight had erupted behind the Toot's restaurant and those involved fled the area before officers arrived.
The fight was said to be between a group of females, according to a security guard at "Loves Lounge (810 NW Broad St)." The fight somehow turned into a brawl with approximately 50 people. Gun shots rang out and the crowd dispersed. No injuries were reported.
The shooting is believed to have come from a newer model Dodge Charger that was silver in color.
In the parking lot, police found 9mm shell casings. No arrests could be made.
