WGNS has more news on a serious motorcycle accident that occurred in Murfreesboro April 5, 2019. The wreck happened at 11:00 this past Friday night on Joe B Jackson Parkway.
When the first officer arrived on the scene he told dispatch that the motorcycle was fully engulfed in flames and that the rider had serious injuries.
The operator of the 2005 Yamaha R6 was Michael Florentine. The 46 year old man was attempting to negotiate a curve on the motorcycle when he collided with a pickup truck.
Florentine was taken from the scene of the wreck to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville by Life Flight Helicopter. He was last listed in critical condition.
