An April 16th armed robbery remains under investigation by Murfreesboro Police.

A police report shows that the alleged victims claim they were sitting in a McDonalds parking lot while waiting for parents to wire them money. The two said that once they were told their money was wired, they drove to a nearby Kroger store to receive the funds via Western Union.

Outside the Old Fort Parkway / Cason Lane Kroger Store, one of the two victims said that a car pulled up with several men inside. One of the men reportedly had a gun and told him to get into the car. The male victim said that the men threatened to shoot him if he refused to get in while displaying a gun.

Once inside the car the man claimed that the subjects demanded his cash, which he handed over. The female who was with the male victim followed the suspects in her car down Cason Lane after her male friend exited and told her to call the police. Evidently, the woman lost track of the car and police were called.

The case remains open.
