Murfreesboro Police responded to the Murfreesboro Motel on Broad Street this past Friday (04/19/2019) in regards to recent burglaries. Once on the scene they noticed a shirtless white male exit a vehicle that had another man still inside allegedly lighting up a glass pipe. Police say the pipe was for meth.
Inside the car officers found a small baggie of what looked to be methamphetamine, a digital scale, Xanax and Lortab and more.
Joshua Woodrow told officers he was there visiting a female who he smoked meth with. The police report read, "Mr. Woodrow Also stated he sold methamphetamine for 60 - $70 per gram."
Officers then turned their attention to the motel room where Woodrow allegedly suggested his female friend resided. Once inside police were granted permission to search the room. A digital scale, a loaded syringe, 6 grams of marijuana and 1.5 grams of meth were located. Misdemeanor citations were issued to the room occupants.
30-Year-old Joshua Windrow was arrested and taken to jail where he currently remains as of April 24, 2019. The subject now faces several drug related charges that he will face in a Rutherford County Courtroom.
