A new airport will soon be a part of the Murfreesboro landscape on Memorial Boulevard. Murfreesboro Airport Manger Chad Gehrke (pronounced Gur-Key) told WGNS that the new complex will be three-times larger than the present terminal.

Much of the existing structures that housed the main lobby have been torn down to make way for the new construction.
Again, the new airport remodel should be complete by the end of 2019.
