Murfreesboro Police continue to investigate a reckless endangerment case that landed a bullet inside of a family's home.
It was around 3 in the morning when shots awoke a man who was asleep inside of his home in the 800 block of General Cabot Court. The man and his wife found that a bullet entered their house going through their master bedroom window.
According to law enforcement, it appeared as if the shot was fired from the area around Cherry Lane. Luckily, no one was injured.
The family told officers that no one has ever threatened them or was out to cause them harm in any way.
Police were unable to locate any shell casings on the day of the shooting. A special watch has since been placed on Liberty Village in Murfreesboro. No suspects have been named.
