Officers responded to an apartment complex earlier this month to investigate a robbery.
When police made contact with the victim, he said that he and his girlfriend were parked at Campus Crossing apartments when he got out of the car to urinate. The man walked to the nearby treeline - did his business and then walked back to the car.
On the victims return trip to his parked car is when two men dressed in black approached him asking for his wallet. When he stated that his wallet was not with him, they told the victim to hand over his phone. The phone bandits then fled the area.
The victim's girlfriend drove the man to her apartment complex to calm down because he stated he was having a panic attack. Police arrived and were able to get a description of the subjects that robbed him.
Unfortunately, no arrest could be made and the culprits could not be located.
