A woman in LaVergne has been receiving harassing cell phone calls from a man claiming to molest a 9-year old girl. The female told officers that she receives up to six calls per day from the unknown man. The calls are coming from a number in Lafayette, Louisiana and that is all police have to go by at this time. Similar calls have been placed in Nashville and Mt. Juliet. Reports indicate the caller will only speak to women when he calls. The LaVergne Police Department, along with other nearby departments, are working on the case.
