Some will sink and others will float. That is the fun of a cardboard boat.
The annual Cardboard Boat Regatta will take place in Murfreesboro this Saturday (Sept. 7, 2019).
You can participate and race by building your own cardboard boat. Keep in mind, you have to be able to actually get in your cardboard boat to win!
If cardboard boating is not your style, you can spend the day at the park watching captains and their crews race across the outdoor Sports*Com pool.
Of course some of the boats may spring a leak, but the race participants will still have fun floating their way to the finish line.
Teams will consist of 1 to 4 people who must be in the boat at all times.
The Cardboard Boat Regatta is this Saturday at 10AM in the outdoor Sports*Com pool.
Please contact Cody Saffel for rules and regulations on boat design.
