(MURFREESBORO) Does your organization or civic group need help in learning about grants? The Rutherford County Library System's Technology Engagement Center now offers Foundation Directory Online.

The TEC's Kathleen Tyree said, "This provides access to an unprecedented wealth of timely, comprehensive information on grantmakers and their grants. An indispensable tool for identifying sources of funding for your project, access is available to all with a Rutherford County Library System card holders."

She explained that the Foundation Directory Online resource for non-profits, containing a comprehensive codified database of 140,000+ grantmakers, 700, 000+ recipient profiles and 14 million+ grants, combined with powerful search filters allow you to find and narrow down top prospects. The information on FDO is updated weekly and includes a keyword search option called Power Search that combs through the database as well as additional Foundation Center databases: news, jobs, RFPs, nonprofit-sector research reports, and nonprofit literature.

Prospect researching can now be done with accurate and consistent results, for free, on location at the Technology Engagement Center (TEC), at 306 Minerva Drive in Murfreesboro. Create a profile and build a portfolio within FDO, making recurring visits for funding research easier and more fruitful.
