58-Year old James Bennett has been arrested and charged with the solicitation of a minor. The Murfreesboro man who lives on Searcy Street allegedly solicited a 10-year old girl for sex. When Bennett was interviewed by police he allegedly told them he could not remember the incident. A witness however vouched for the young girl who made the accusation. Solicitation of a minor is a class B felony in Tennessee. If found guilty, class B felonies can carry sentences of no less than eight years and no more than thirty years in a state prison.
