Some people may look at it as Opryland part two… Gaylord Entertainment and Dolly Parton have teamed up to build a 114 acre family theme park off of Briley Parkway near the Opryland Hotel. Its first phase will be a $50 million water and snow theme park. The announcement was made on Thursday at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. Once open, Gaylord Entertainment projects that 500,000 visitors will attend the park its first year of operation.
