Ascension Saint Thomas and Kroger Health are celebrating their new affiliation with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Murfreesboro. Open to the public, this free event will take place on Wednesday, October 9th at the Murfreesboro Kroger on Veterans Parkway. The celebration will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
With this collaboration and their shared commitment to the people of Middle Tennessee, Ascension Saint Thomas and Kroger Health hope to make high-quality, personalized healthcare affordable and easily accessible for the communities served. Kroger Health is the healthcare arm of The Kroger Co.
This kick-off event will include giveaways, raffle prizes, healthy snacks and guest speakers. Free diabetes and blood pressure screenings will also be provided. Fasting is not required. A registered dietitian will be in attendance to answer guests' questions about how they can best set and attain healthy-eating goals.
