A local photographer has focused his attention on his hometown in a brand new series entitled, "THE BORO."
The collection by Mike McDougal mainly photographed the collection of photos during the Summer of 2019.
THE BORO showcases minimalist, Americana photos featuring all aspects of Murfreesboro, TN, old and new. From historic landmarks to abandoned properties, local businesses and more. The photos bring a certain nostalgia to the viewer, regardless of their subjects' peak period.
McDougal stated, "I remember being fascinated with so many of these locations as a kid. After moving back to Murfreesboro, I started seeing them differently. My goal with THE BORO is to take something you see every day, and make you see it in a completely new light."
