(MURFREESBORO) It's not clear why a black Nissan was traveling in the wrong lane around lunchtime Saturday when hit head-on by a large silver SUV.
The crash took place on Northfield Boulevard near the entrance to Haynes Manor Apartments.
Detectives from the Murfreesboro Police Department were gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses in an effort to piece together what happened.
