(MURFREESBORO) Over sixty Murfreesboro City School third through sixth grade student athletes will be competing in the Special Olympics Fall Bowling event this Friday (11/22/2019) at Lanes Trains and Automobiles, 450 Butler Drive.
City School's spokesperson Lisa Trail told NewsRadio WGNS, "This will be the happiest competition in town. Our Special Olympians are so excited and ready to bowl. The bowling competition is part of the Area 16 Special Olympics, and it takes place between 10:00 o'clock Friday morning and noon."
She concluded, "Our student athletes will take over the lanes at Lanes Trains and Automobiles in Murfreesboro as they compete for 1st - 4th place and maybe more importantly...bragging rights."
The bowling competition is part of the Area 16 Special Olympics.
