Certified Elections Administrator Nicole Lester said, "The right to vote and the election process is one of our most cherished and sacred rights as Americans. We need community involvement to make this process work."
PAID Poll Workers Needed
The local attorney, who heads the commission, said that they are seeking poll workers now to be a part of the March 6th election. Lester commented that there are a limited number of positions open, and that interested persons should quickly call 615-898-7743.
Poll workers must be at least 17, be a Rutherford County resident, and (if 18 or older) must be a registered voter in Rutherford County. Please call 898-7743 for more information. Candidates, elected officials, employees of elected officials, and SOME government employees are prohibited from being poll workers by TN state law, though.

You may fill it out and fax it back to the Rutherford County Election Commission at 615-898-7938 or bring it by their office on the south side of the Murfreesboro public square. Poll workers are subject to election commission approval.
