The Siegel High School Choir recently performed for Governor Bill Lee at the Governor's Civics Seal mini-grant kickoff held at the Tennessee State Museum in downtown Nashville. The governor took time to congratulate each student individually following the performance. Above is a photo taken at the event.

The Siegel choir is directed by Brenda Dent-Gregory and Gerald Patton.

Gregory has been a part of the Siegel Choir leadership for 14 years and previously served at Oakland High School for 19 years.

Patton has been at Siegel since 2017 and previously worked at Blackman High School from 2000 to 2017. Patton was the founding director of the choir at Blackman High School in Murfreesboro.

Siegel High School opened in the fall of 2003. The property the school is built upon was donated, along with land for two other schools, by Mr. Richard Siegel, as left in his will.
