A special presentation will take place on Thursday night before the March 13th Commission Meeting. The Mayor will be presenting a "Resolution of Recognition" to Kyrah Hall (13 years old) for saving the life of her friend Briana Herrod (11 years old).
On February 9, Briana was being attacked by a neighborhood dog. Kyrah not only separated the dog from her friend, but she also hoisted Briana up onto her back and carried her safely inside and began tending to her wounds before first responders arrived.
Both families will be present and available for photos and interviews at the conclusion of the presentation. Please let me know if you plan to attend!
