Georgia based Waffle House announced Tuesday that it will be closing 365 of their restaurants as COVID-19 cases grow in the United States.
In Murfreesboro, the Waffle House location on South Rutherford Boulevard near MTSU is closing each day at 3 in the afternoon, but are still preparing to-go orders daily. WGNS confirmed that the two Waffle House locations on South Church Street (one on either side of I-24) and the Waffle House on Old Fort Parkway in front of Kohl's are open 24-hours a day for to go orders.
Several other locations in Rutherford County also remain open for take out orders at this time. Across the U.S., 1,627 are slated to remain open.
