Campaign signs belonging to Rutherford County Property Assessor Bill Boner are being stolen left and right. Boner filed a report with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office about the thefts, but still no suspects. Boner is so steamed about the signs being stolen that he is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the culprit responsible for the thefts. The $1,000 reward is being paid for out of his savings account. Incumbent republican Bill Boner is running against republicans William C. Austin and Lance Jenkins. Also in the running is democrat Rob Mitchell.
