The granddaughter of an 82 year old Murfreesboro man and her alleged boyfriend have been accused of stealing from him. The reported victim is said to suffer from Alzheimer's and Parkinsons.
According to a police report, the duo took the elderly victim to multiple Regions Bank locations, "Having him remove money from his bank account."
45-year-old Perry Michael Hale and 39-year-old Amy L. Hillard were named as suspects in the case. Both Hale and Hillard live in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and have been arrested.
The arrest report stated, "Evidence showed that the two of them had taken thousands of dollars from the 83-year-old victim."
Hale and Hillard were each charged with "Willful Abuse, Neglect or Exploitation of Adults."
