The Riverdale girls defeated Oakland 67-43 to claim the District 7-AAA girls championship Monday night behind 24-points from Shacobia Barbee. In the consolation game, Blackman beat Smyrna 57-31. Both Chelsey Hall and Kortnay Cox scored 12 in the win. Tuesday night on WGNS, we will have coverage of the boys consolation game between Siegel and Smyrna and the district championship, which pits Blackman against La Vergne.
